Year for Change helps parents and educators who want to provide children ages one through 11 with intensive Autism treatments, Aspergers treatments, PDD treatments, or social skills training.

Why “Year for Change”?

Experts generally recommend that kids with challenges receive help as early as possible, to take advantage of "windows of opportunity" which may close later.

In my work helping families with Autism treatments and other therapies, I've come to believe that those very early months and years may have the most potential for some (though not all) kids and their families to grow and change.

Unfortunately, during this period families often struggle with financial and emotional challenges which make getting started very difficult.

While nothing replaces the in-person efforts of a qualified expert, families who are able to start with a foundation of easy-to-understand, useful information may be able to use more resources - not to mention personal energy - for individualized therapies available from local health providers.

This website is an outreach toward families who need that extra help. Perhaps finding this resource is one of your first steps toward an amazing journey with your child. Thanks for coming. I hope you enjoy the website and find its free resources useful.
